Malvern is a railway station in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia, located in the suburb of Malvern, on the Pakenham, Frankston and Cranbourne railway lines. Malvern Station is classed as a Host Station and is in Metcard Zone 1.FacilitiesMalvern is located between Station Street and Station Place, with station access from both.The station consists of an island layout and two side platforms; Platforms 1 & 4 (side platforms) have semi-large brick buildings, while platforms 2 & 3 (island platform) have a large brick building, all in the middle of their respective platforms. myki ticket vending machines, replacing the earlier Metcard machines, are located at the station, and are able to top up cards as well as dispense new cards. A footbridge is situated at Flinders Street end of the station.The station is listed on the Victorian Heritage Register. Tram route 16 is a short walk from the station, on Glenferrie Road.
